| subject: | Sample device driver source ? |

I'm not sure what an "HDD" is. Do you mean "hard disk
drive?" This gets somewhat complicated, since different controllers
are supported by their appropriate Adapter Device Driver (ADD) and all hard
disk drives are managed by the Device Manager for Direct Access Storage
Devices (OS2DASD.DMD). An example of an ADD is the IBM1S506.ADD source
provided with the OS/2 DDK; IBM1S506.ADD is the driver for ST-506
interfaces including IDE.
LE> * An OS/2 printer device driver (laser)
Presentation device drivers are quite complicated. I don't think I have
any source that would be useful to you.
LE> * An OS/2 IFS
Unfortunately, I don't have any good IFS source I can disclose to you other
than a very simple skeleton:
IFS.ZIP 106K 1-14-93 OS/2 Installable File System driver documentation,
API headers
IFSSRC.ZIP 5K 3-15-91 OS/2 Installable File System source example
IFSINF.ZIP 151K 12-07-94 How to create an Installable File System (.IFS)
While this is a real IFS driver with source, it has some serious design
deficiencies that the author essentially concedes in his documentation,
explaining that the driver is "pre-alpha." Anyway, here it is:
EXT2_03A.ZIP 463K 8-27-95 Linux ext2fs file system driver (IFS) for OS/2
EXT2_FLT.ZIP 6K 7-25-95 This filter allows you to use ext2-os2.ifs to read
Linux ext2 filesystems, without having to edit the
partition table.

FReq (1:323/107) or download (+1 401 944 8498) are supported at V.34.
Perhaps if you explained what you are trying to do, I could help you.
