Among the other wonderful bird things Damark sells, they have
indoor-outdoor thermometers with a 20 foot cord for the outdoor sensor.
I use these in my aquarium brooders--the outdoor corded sensor tells the
temp at the bottom where the babies are, and the indoor sensor tells me
what the room air temp is. You can read it across a room, and it records
highest/lowest temps so you can tell if the brooder is fluctuating.
They also sometimes carry electronic gram scales. I got one for $35 a
few years back--it measures in 1 gram increments, which is good enough
for conure-sized babies (for anything really tiny I'd want 1/4 gram
increments at least).
They also sell FANTASTIC hanging hammock chairs, which are for the
exhausted handfeeder to go swing in to relax for just a few minutes in
between cleaning cages, feeding babies, and sterilizing equipment...
