G'Day from Down Under,
                        I run a small LAN using 3.12 I have had trouble using
VLMS with my 2 Toshiba Tecra Laptop with 3com 3c589 cards but as soon as I 
went
back to NETX no problems. I also found vlms to be slower and it is best to
run all NETX or all VLMS not a combo.
