My son Steve has a question about modifications to the SKS. He's used to
using a sling when he shoots and has a lot of problems with the fabric
sling that came on his (Russian) SKS. We're wondering if the fact that
the sling mounts to the *side* of the barrel would affect accuracy if we
were to replace it with a usable sling.
