An editor that creates a message can use a PID kludge. I don't think there is a standard for a general notes tag name. So you can make up your own. But before you have your software add such a thing to every message it creates, you should ask yourself what use it is to other systems, to have this information in every message. Kludge lines are not meant for human consumption, most readers don't even see them...
