Motorola LifeStyle V.34 Data/Fax Modem - Firmware Rev #1 6/09/95 PE> You seem to connect fine at 28800 to both the USR and the Netcomm Never had a problem handshaking with either modem, although the Netcomm seems to train a bit longer on connecting than the USR did. PE> As far as I can tell, it looks like David D got a 28800 failed PE> call and a 26400 successful call. Does the M34F give you stats showing the V.34 asymmetrical bit rates? PE> One thing though, you always connect with MNP4 instead of PE> V42bis. Any particular reason? I prefer to force MNP4 at my end using \N3 - mainly for the slight throughput advantage. PE> BFN. Paul. PE> P.S. Here's a list I currently have... [ Snip ] Thanks, John. @EOT: ---* Origin: Systems Design - v.34 - (3:711/934.10) SEEN-BY: 711/934 |
