hey again.... the year was 1968..... same year Denny Mclain won 31 games and 
had a 1.68 ERA to win the American Cy award
They met in the World Series and McLain lost out.... too bad for St.Louis 
that Mickey Lolich came thru & won 3 games for us, to win that series!
Pedro has a good shot at 20 wins and the Cy Young.... even last year, pat 
Hentgen won it in the American League and I believe Pettis was ahead of him 
in the win column
