Hello All I've recently picked up an old Amstrad PPC540 for about $10 Australian. I cant believe how well this little twin floppy XT laptop/portable works, it has a built in 2400 modem, a small flip-out non-backlit LCD screen and adapter to run off the car cigarette lighter socket. It might still be alive because it doesn't rely on nicads, it uses dry cells instead. Old nicads in laptops are always a source of problems, and additional expense. Has anyone else out there got one?
