That's not a Microsoft trick - Warp does it, too. From a command
line, run "net share" and you will see, as a default, ADMIN$ and IPC$.
Just to check, I just created (via net admin) resources DRV$ and $DRV$
on another machine. They do not appear in the resource browser nor are
they listed by "net view", altho I'm sure there is a way to get to it.
Kinda like the hidden attribute. If you want to use them, tho, you can
certainly connect and assign device letters to those resources - I just
did it. I'd bet that this is a "well known convention", but I didn't
have time to look any of it up.
