G'day Dieter,
Replying to a message of Dieter Mirbach to Paul Edwards on 23-02-96:
PE>> As of 1996-02-21T10:55 I now have a Netcomm M34F online. So
DM> It's a piece of shit !!
Go on, tell us what you really think :-)
PE>> far there have been no reported problems.
DM> Only because no-one can get through ......
DM> I'm lucky if I can connect at all.
I'm begining to come to the conclusion that my Netcomm M7F Series 3 may not
be such a shitheap as I thought.
It may not have all the bells and whistles that other modems have (Netcomm
originally wanted an *extra* $800 to convert it to a Series 4 with all the
bells and whistles!!! Thieving cunts), but I seem to be able to connect to
almost anything without much trouble. A 3 second delay in negotiating the
connect with TML doesn't faze me much.
