I'm still doing DOS internet and DOS tenetting to BBS, on machines ranging
from 386's up to about Pentium 200 mhz machines. I use the arachne web
browser, which has it's own packet driver, and has a tenet .apm, also I
have lsppp so I can use other DOS applications such a kermit (for
telnetting) toffee (irc) and PINE, origianlly a unix/linux email program,
but there is a version of it ported to DOS, a litlte bit of a learning
curve to get it to work, but there's plenty of help files and it also
handles newsgroups.
