AA>> Myself, I'm not much of a foodie. I'm primarily on a self

 AA>> years now..

ML> I'm not a fan of the term foodie, which started as a term of
ML> derision but has been appropriated by the victums (cf.
ML> queer, nerd, geek, and the term fan itself, originally
ML> fanatic). So I'm not a foodie either, though I know a lot
ML> about food and certainly eat a lot of it.

Derision was not intended. It was more about having a strong
focus or interest in food, preparation and cooking, of which I do
not have.

ML> We had a guy on the echo who was on a diet similar to yours,
ML> and he claimed he felt great on it - Robert Miles, for whom
 ML> I had to make a salt-free dairy-free fat-free chowder at one
 ML> of the echo picnics.

I'm not on a diet (as in a temporary plan for weight reduction),
although weight reduction was a goal at the time. Now, it's a
plan to try and eat healthily for the long term. I started on a
standard keto plan. After a few months, I modified it to cut out
the processed foods and increased the fibre sources. Processed
low-fat food is tradionally a problem (especially if the food
compensates with added sugars). But a high-fat (natural non-meat
fats) and low carbs (no sugars) is the healthy approach.

I had a few niggly health issues, but they disappeared after
starting the plant-based approach.

I reduced my weight from nearly 200lbs (way too much for my height) to 175lbs,
and without exercise. I actually have much more stamina and energy now.

AA>> The two Wellanders were looking for help to start a
AA>> website. As the content grew, it was apparent that it
AA>> needed to be split into two additional
 AA> databases.

ML> Could you have the URL open an umbrella site from which
ML> people can branch off into various subdomains each with its
ML> own access and its own delays?

That's what it is doing now. The site is actually three "sites":

[1] wellandHistory.ca = Main site
[2] tales.wellandhistory.ca = TALES
[3] events.wellandhistory.ca = EVENTS

ML> I wonder if you could you just move the whole bunch to a
ML> different server and have your main site redirect requests
 ML> to it.

Redirection to support new/addtional material has been a
consideration. But "moving" the current data could be
problematic.

I (as designer) would want a more consistent look during a redirect. The
problem is that the current design would require too much work to duplicate on
a new site than I have available right now.

 ML> Veggie burger
 ML> categories: vegetarian, nonvegan
 ML> servings: 4

ML> 4 oz black beans, drained
 ML> 4 oz chickpeas, drained
ML> 4 oz white beans, drained
 ML> 6 oz rolled oats

Thanks for the suggestion, but I avoid too many beans, and oats.
