I just retested it with Outlook Express 6. I created a Mail Rule called
"No Envelope" that contains the following:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the Subject line contains 'noenvelope'
Move it to the Spam folder
and Mark it as read
There does not seem to be a way to change the order of the "move
it" and the "mark it as read" operations.
I then sent myself a message with "noevelope" in the subject. I
got a notification (sound and envelope in the task bar tray). It correctly
put the message in the spam folder, and it was marked read, but it still
notified me.
Thanks.
Gregg
