JT>Me too. I'm beginning to think North Carolina isn't far enough south.
JT>Hmmm. Maybe I should migrate to St. Augustine with my sister.
JT> TTYL, Jan
C'mon down, Jan,
The water's warm!
We're only about 35 miles from ST Augustine down SR 16. We're over in
Green Cove Springs, Fl. There is a big bird to-do over in St. Augustine
at a big aviary tomorrow and Sunday. Have you ever heard of Solanos?
I like to go there as everything is outdoors and out in the open under
trees. You are not elbow to elbow with cooties. I'm not taking babies
though, just need to get some supplies, like amazon nest boxes,
syringes, carefresh, etc. But when I have had babies that I felt were able
to travel for sale, I did not mind going to this place as I could set up
away from other dealers and I also keep babies behind closed brooders.
If they buy it they can touch it. As for me, as a nurse, I wash in oxy,
use gloves, wear a lab coat or scrubs over my clothes when feeding, I
carry my own food, water, and equipment.
Anyway, going tomorrow to get supplies, hobknob, and look around at
spares as I have a few singles to pair up.
Again, c'mon down where it's warmer!!! Is your sister into birds too?
