Well, there seems to be a fake version 2.50 around, but I don't know if it 
will do any damage. However, there's also a authentic v.2.50 and 2.50a (the 
later one is a bug fix), and if you get them from a safe source you don't 
have to worry.
Make sure you get the original self-extracting archive ARJ250A.EXE and that 
it has a good security envelope by Robert Jung. 
In case of doubt, get a copy of a good virus scanner, like F-PROT or 
Thunderbyte.
