National Library of Poetry, I have Proof, those f--kin, Sons of B--ches

I had a bad experience and will not do business with anyone that is
affiliated with a poetry contest/submission company. I not only have had a
bad experience but I have documents to prove there fraudulent
misrepresentations and possibly illegal acts. I am trying to get a scanner
to copy the letters of this into the computer, would you like a copy of the
correspondences?

If your interested, it was a contest that I had seen in magazines for a long
time. When I got to the site they wanted me to limit my work to 20 lines.
I found that "Mommy, Daddy, it's dark in here", was 22 lines and it pissed
me off. I can't help it, I am very passionate. As I am sure you can see
through my work. I left them a nasty letter in there poetry section of a
total of two lines telling them that I was offended with them requiring me
to limit my work. I named this, witch couldn't be considered poetry, with
the name of my poem and sent it.

I had forgotten about it, and about two months down the road. They sent me
a letter with all kinds of info on the contest and praising my poem, "Mommy
ect.....". I had thought I didn't send it because of the 20 line limit, but
then thought I must have been mistaken. I was now thinking that I was
actually being published and someone finally took notice of the work that I
feel so powerful about, and I am sure you agree that I am no slob. (Modesty
is not one of my strong points J.K.). I called my wife and family and had
tears in my eyes because I thought that I was going to be published in an
Anthology. I didn't care if it was $49.95 a book and neither did my family.
I was ready to send for six copies, two for me and four my family requested.
Then they sent me another letter with a copy of my "poem" to go over and
make final editing for publication. I absolutely fell apart, my heart felt
like it had when I was a child and that shouldn't be done to anyone. I have
told this story to thousands of others, no one can know how that felt. I
will tell thousands more and though I am not violent in nature, I hope the
owners of that fraudulent, nasty little fucked up company never meet me in a
dark alley. They never even read it, and worse of all they do it to others
that never find out.
