The thing to do with the idiot who tried to drive on is stand
your ground and force them to wait a whole cycle.
In Toronto a couple olf times idiots had blocked Yonge street at
King with west bound traffic on King street.
When light changed for Yonge traffic to go north/south,
pedestrians swarmed across King Street and cars on Yonge were out
of luck.
hark!  What sound from yonder comes?
From down the south end of Yonge Street was the banche wail of
... a siren!  And it is getting closer!  Barrelling up northbound
on Yonge street.  Hey that ain't no cop or ambulance, that is the
sound of a fire engine.  Has more of a growl to it than police.
Well the guy who was like 3 cars back from the west end of the
intersection realizing he is gonna meet his maker when a 12 ton
fire engine t-bones him and can neither back up nor pull ahead
starts honking his horn.
pedestrians keep swarming across King street to catch their
r.t.a. and Metro North trains.  Hey they got the green light and
no law says pedestrians have to yield right of way to anyone
including a fire engine, besides fire engine hasn't wanted to
turn left to go west, but wants to go straight north.
I am on sidewalk with 2 meter handheld radio giving blow by blow
description to guys on local repeater.
And using other hand to thumb my nose at guys with cars stuck in
the intersection and saying now you die you driving swine!
Did fire engine t-bone idiot who grid locked the intersection?
no it stopped and blew air horn.
When light changed, pedestrians crossing King stopped crossing,
traffic choking Yonge Street moved ahead a couple of car lengths
and fire engine roared up Yonge street to its fire.
hey, let the rich capitalist pigs mansions burn.  Or their store,
the crooks probably torched it for the insurance anyway.
The pregnant woman with the heart attack is probably an illegal
immigrant or heavily insured anyway.
The traffic has to keep flowing!
Then there was the idiot ambulance driver who liked to go the
wrong way on a one way street and would stop for red lights but
use no siren.
I chewed him out a couple of times before someone said it was an
ambualnce and i bellowed use your siren stupid!  He obviously was
aware that not even a fire engine can run a red light in Canada
but a fire engine and only a fire engine can:
-go any way it wants on a one way street
-make as much noise as it needs to in order to get to or fight a
fire
-some other thing which is not really that important really.
I guess the dear ambulance driver never got chewed out for doing
something he wasn't supposed to before by a blind person!
Or anyone else.  Like parking on a sidewalk so he did not
obstruct road traffic but pedestrians had to walk onto the road
to get around it.  Busy road too.
Gee considered dragging out some barricades from patio of cafe
into road to choke off the traffic for him.  Well got to make it
sfe for pedestrians to walk on street eh?
Best come back to snarky ambulance crew is to bug off or you will
smear them with your h.i.v. bodily secretions.  man do they crap
their pants!
Hey if you really want to get even with a construction company,
put up a picket line across gate of their job especially if they
are doing slip-form concrete.
you ought to see what happens to the project if the supply of
ready-mix is cut off for even a couple of hours!
