Well I first heard about it in a review in entertainment weekly.  The same 
article reviewed Primary Colors and one other one, I forget the name but I 
have it on reserve.  I am about 3/4 of the way through Primary Colors and it
reads more like a non-fiction book so it is a much slower read.  I guess it 
is supposed to based on the Clinton campaign so it really is more like 
non-fiction actually.  Of course, the only mystery involved in this book is 
who the anonymous author is.
