I've seen messaging here and there about mapping programs,  but haven't
really followed up on it,  as that's something that strikes me as both
a:commercial more likely than not,  and b:windoze-based,  which kinda lets
me out of following up on it...

If there's mapping _data_ out there that's freely available I'd sure like
to know about it.
