It was mainly a curiousity thing to see if it made any difference .. but
since Paul changing EPROM revisions changes the average connection speed we
get, I'm more inclined to think the problem is at his end.  You've
mentioned that the problem might be the Sportster vs the Courier - entirely
possible I guess.
