The PMREF guide certainly needs more work - we agree on that.  The GPI and
CP references are in a lot better shape, though.

Agreed. However, we spend many months doing the work you see and weof
course are working on finishing the rest as well.  A decision was taken
that it was a shortcoming we could live with for the moment, and released
the product as you see it.

Of course.  Upgrades to the INF and .VPH files will be made available.

They are different, certainly.  Both docs are based on IBM's information
from the toolkit.  The VP docs contain everything from these docs,
including the examples, syntax definitions, etc - although some of it is
only partially converted.  The SP docs contain Pascal examples for all of
the calls, but with all of the "meat" of the examples removed, so
it just shows the API call without all variable declarations and
initialisation code.

Neither approach is perfect, although I do find ours preferable.  FWIW,
Delphi 2 ships with all of the API documentation in C... :-(
