4 calls to date - one failed completely, another connected at 26400 then
promptly set about sending my mail at 400 cps (and then wouldn't hang up,
so I had to switch off the modem), and the other 2 apparently worked fine. 
A 50% failure rate is even worse than the old Spirit.
