Paul, at 09:15 on Feb 16 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley ... . . .[chomp]. . . Please quote the Hayes definition of autobauding. Please quote the relative portion of the Courier manual that states the Courier's strict adherance to ALL Hayes quirks. PE> If you just want to say the USR doesn't autobaud properly/at PE> all, then that is fine, fucked by design, no problems. The USR Courier "auto bauds" as well as any other modem - HOWEVER when you reset the modem to the stored NVRAM settings (viewable with ATI5) it will aknowledge your request and reset ALL settings to those stored in NVRAM. This INCLUDES the port speed. To view the current portspeed, use ATI4 David @EOT: --- Msgedsq/2 3.10* Origin: JabberWOCky CBCS +61 7 3868 1597 (3:640/305) SEEN-BY: 640/305 450 711/934 @PATH: 640/305 711/934 |
