PE> A datascope analysis will probably do. Why don't you ring up PE> USR and ask them to call my BBS and put a datascope on to find PE> out what is REALLY happening. That should be good for a laugh. PE> Digicom deleted my email message without replying to it, they PE> never replied to my faxes. Why don't you put USR to the test. PE> I'm a generous bloke - I'll leave the modem on 24 hours a day, PE> 7 days a week, for the next MONTH. What name will they be PE> calling under? I'll let you know as soon as they log on. PE> BFN. Paul. In fact, last year I was discussing with USR (Skokie, ILL) not being able to connect to an early Maestro VFC with my Courier without using S27=48, When they asked me for the phone number because they would call the BBS themselves. I told them the number (Brisbane, Australia) and they made more than one call. (This was to a pirate BBS, mind you) So you should not be suprised if they do call you. And when you order a modem on their US Sysop deal, they ask for your BBS number and a login name/password and do actually login. --- Terminate 3.00/Pro* Origin: Electron Migration (3:640/305.55) SEEN-BY: 640/305 450 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
