Like what?  Isn't a failure rate of over 50% good enough for you?  Anyway,
check this morning's logs for the stats of my 3 calls, the first 2 of which
just kept renegotiating until the NetComm eventually dropped DTR on me.

When I call tomorrow, I fully expect to see one or two failed attempts
before I actually connect.  That will bring the failure rate up to around
65%-70%.
