PH> JE> Thanks for the reply Phil. In a way, I suppose it is very gratifying
PH> JE> that the WP conference isn't too busy. I'd suspect that means there
s
PH> JE> little true problems. A glance at the Windows95 conference will
erify
PH> JE> that.
PH>Yeah , this *ain't* the Word97 echo! hehehe What version of WP do
PH>you use? *I* use Corel WP Suite 7 for Win95 presently, but I'm leaning
Same. Been using WP since version 4.0 ( I believe it
was - in the early or mid 80s. I tried every word processor extant then
and nothing could hold a candle to WP and so far nothing has come out
since that can touch WP. I keep trying the new and revised, but nothing
is as good as WP so far.
PH>towards upgrading to WP Suite 8 probably in a couple of months.
I bought 8 at the APCO meeting. Haven't installed it as yet.
PH>Are you a member of the Alamo PC User Group WordPerfect SIG by any
Yes, have been for years.
PH>chance? I used to go to the SIG meetings, but the distance and traffic
PH>got to be too much for me (I live near Lackland, and the meetings were
PH>up near the airport at 7 PM. If you've ever hit the I10/410 interchange
PH>at that hour, you know what I'm talking about!)
I have and I avoid it like the plague!
