Yesterday near Leadville, Colorado, an Army UH-60 Blackhawk heliocpter 
carrying 4 persons from the 10th Spec FOrces Group at FT. Carson hit power 
lines and crashed. They were possibly saved from death from hyprothermia by 2 
civilians who were snowmobiling nearby and witnessed the crash. The site is 
above 10,000 ft and temps were about -5F. This area is frequently used for 
high altitude helo training. At the time the spec forces people were being 
taken to a field camp. All were taken to hospitals and hsould survive.(Note:) 
This is an extremely tough area.
