Strange?.... But interesting ;-)

Mmm, I don't know... but I like to know... maybe a question for the
Linux-area?

A while back, I have posted a new version of sat.s in this area
(sat_color.s), and there I have used
        pushl $160000           # C : usleep(....);
        call usleep             # Wacht-lus
        addl $4,%esp
                                      to make the wait-routine. And now, it
seems that the speed is the same on my computer, even when there are
running a lot of others programs in the background.
If you find a solution to make this 'program' run on your computer, please
tell me.... there are so many things that I have to learn ;-)
Have a nice day, James. - Jan Wagemakers -
