You should learn C or C++ first and then learn the Control Program API. Wait until you are reasonably proficent in C/C++ and the CP API before you move on to PM. If you want to learn WPS programming, learn that last. PF> My advice: Don't learn C, go directly to C++. I can't agree here. There are times when doing something the C way is much better than the C++ way. If you learn C++ only, chances are that you won't know how to do these things in C. You should also know C beause it can generate smaller and faster programs (no C++ 'object' overhead), which can come in handy if you're coding for lesser hardware.. I've had decient success with 'Teach yourself C++ in 21 days.' I can't remember the author, but it's published by SAMS. You shouldn't have much trouble finding it. --- GoldED/2 2.50 UNREG* Origin: For sale: 30 pieces of silver. Contact N. Gingrich.
