        Oh ! Daring soul. Did the water dissolve the dried up ink enough
        to claim a success ? I have enough trouble getting off my
        fingers when spilling some on refilling the tanks.

        I guess that any absorbent material would serve the purpose. It
        only accepts the drops from the wiper and is there to prevent a
        bigger mess.
