I think the original poster was being subjective. I have a Nikon D70. With
a dSLR like it, the battery life is great, I can use a range of lenses,
focus lag and shutter lag are consistent with a film SLR, and at 6
megapixels I can enlarge prints as far as I'd ever want to.
