-> The flat cables to the IDE devices block a lot of the air flow. Round
-> bundled cables about 1/2" in diameter are now available - much less air
-> flow blockage - makes the cooling fans more effective. I've got them in
-> my systems.

 One caution. Pay attention to how flexiable they are. Some of the
cheaper ones are very stiff, those made with old fashoned Shrink tubing,
and are hard to form like you want them.
