 It was off the list, and dead. That made it fair game. I planned
 to give it back to Alan. Even if you don't believe I would want

 If I just took the echo I knew you would scream hijack. If I
 offered it to Alan, he would make it a decent echo, as it was
 before. At that time I did not know how bad his health was. I
 did not want a dead echo.

 The echolist it appeared in was the next month. I seldom read
 the echolist echo.
