&K Flow Control
       = 0 Off
       = 3 RTS/CTS flow control
       = 4 XON/XOFF flow control
       = 5 Transparent XON/XOFF flow control
= 9*Auto CTS or XOFF (to DTE only)

I had &K3 with the M7F, but had some initial problems when I first got
the M34F - can't remember exactly what the cause was, but in the end I was
using &K9 without any problems, so it's stayed at that.

Wassit mean, "more reliable"? I'm not dropping characters or
experiencing wierd pauses - is that "more reliable"? :-)

I thought he was using &K3? Maybe Paul should try &K9 after all.
