make it into the howto

it was one of the reason i got a opteron :-)

MK> For sure. It should be doable.

yes

have it :-)
 MK> Perfect.

it just to have 32bit glibc and 64bit glibc, and a gcc that can build both,
when thats in place the rest is to use -m32 for programs that should use
glibc 32bit

8bit will be portable :-)

or is it 7bit :-)

 MK>>> Works good here.
 BP>> you lucky bastard :-)

MKhttp://trac.cross-lfs.org/ as they have some really good

okay, i will go back to this msg when i have my opteron rebuild :(

system libs got brokken last night so its totaly lost :(

the machine runs just fine with postfix and courier-imap and mysql, but not
perl, and not portage / python :(((

gentoo have always 2 python versions installed, but this helps me nothing
here since both python libs are now brokken :(

BP>> time for change, if i just get the time
 MK> It'll happen I am sure.

yes, have to live with it

 Regards Benny

... there can only be one way of life, and it works :)
