I have a similar link at my website just as a 'point of
interest' really. 

When working as a consultant I fought to get the best hardware
and eventually noticed that price was the determining factor
for computer hardware and software but also hiring and firing.
I was trying to build a computer system that would outlive the
company itself and I relaxed and 'ran with the bulls' to the
end. Two years after I left the company was no more. :-\
