Most likely was-- if you didn't have *.MSG on the Style line.
When I first set up Max, I wanted any newbie (a first-timer) to be able to 
read any public area on the board but not to have posting ability in any 
form.  So... unless a caller is at least "Limited", and has the "E" key, no 
posting of messages is possible in areas where I have those override 
statements.  Ummm... I'm not sure why I have the "Msg_Change" in there; if 
you can't post one, you can't very well change it. ;)
