I'm ready to start learning access as well... here are some thought for
u...
Ever worked with a database...??? If not, you should first get used to the
appropriate language of databases, and get used to work with them (try a
simple one)
Ever worked with a DBMS...??? Comment analog to the above...
Ever worked with macro's...??? In some Microsoft environments...??? Try to
get used to them a bit...
Ever programmed some stuff...??? Get a good copy of some basic pragrammers
stuff out of your local bib, and make some off the excercises...
Ever had a book or experience with some visual programming tools... ???? I
recently loaned a book in the bib about VBA (visual basic for
applications)....
All the above may seem very kindish, I can however assure you that in
combination with the messages posted here, and some analysing off the sample
database accompagnying the MS Access, you get quite a good view and feeling
of how to start with the implementation of what you had in mind ....
At least, that's how I did it, without having some courses or private
teachers.
groetjes,
Anje
