I can't speak for Corel Central 8, but I downloaded Corel Central 7
from Corel's web page a couple of months ago. I'm just about to lean in
the way of upgrading to WPWin 8, but haven't quite justified the
expense to myself yet. For what I do, I'm so far quite happy
with WP Suite 7.
Cheers,
Phil

About an hour after I sent the original message, Airborne dropped off my
copy of Corel WordPerfect Suite with the new Corel Central. I haven't
had time to play with it, but at least it answered my question about it
being available.

* Copied (from: WIN95) by Dave Garland using timEd 1.01.
I've got a client who's running WordPerfect 5.1 under Win95. Swears they
can't live without it. Was running WP5.1 with a shortcut, all fine.
Now they go and get an HPLJ6 printer. Install the HPLJ software. Works fine
with Win programs. No drivers for WP5.1 with the HPLJ6 (or on either HP or
Corel website), so I use the HPLJ5 WP5.1 driver. After printing a page, it
prints a second page that says "2345X" (or something like that), but only
when WP5.1 is running in a DOS box, not if you exit to DOS. So, set up the
shortcut to exit to DOS. Now when you exit WP, the computer reboots.
Running in a DOS box was far preferable (mouse worked, program loads and
exits cleanly). Any suggestions on how to make it work properly ? No,
upgrading to a later version of WP is not an option.
Thanks,
Dave
