Sara,
SG> For what purpose are you drying apples and oranges? If it's for food,
No, it's not for food. I don't have that kind of patience! grin
I am trying to dry them for hanging on the Christmas tree, or to put
in a bowl of pot pourri, etc. It's just for crafts that I want
them.
The oranges are somewhat "sticky" and have been drying for a couple
of months, and now the apples are getting mold on them. :( Arrrgh!!
Everyone else had such good luck with them! I've seen them in mags,
strung on a mantle or tree, and they looked so good.
I also don't know what to do to preserve them. Spray with polyurethane?
I am in the dark here, not really knowing what I'm doing. :(
Thanks for the concern,
Wanda
... I've GOT it together. You should have seen it APART.
