That's why I said that the M34F supported Microcom proprietary standards
(oxymoron?). Interestingly enough, I found a modem benchtest (in which the
NetComm Roadster 288 was the slowest modem .. no surprise there .. the
SmartModem series wasn't tested, and an Avtek was faster than the Roadster)
which claimed that the USR Courier *does* support MNP Class 10. Error on
the part of the journos?
(For Paul - I'm *not* claiming MNP Class 10 as an all-important feature,
just curious.)

They sell a lot of modems into Japan, so it might have something to do with
