lest we forget, 99% of our programs are also used in OTHERNETS...
yeah, yeah, yeah... let them suffer but isn't that a bit defeatist? they
will do what they like. if we don't support them in their wants and
desires, we are the ones who loose... not they...
FWIW: all my software that does FTN node addressing uses WORD variables and
allows for 65535:65535/65535.65535 as a valid FTN address -=B-) i just
have to take care to notify the user if the address they put in will not
fit in the alloted space...
ie: HMB and GoldBase netmail message areas cannot handle zones >255
so i warn the user when they try to send to a zone >255 in those
message base types.
