No, you should have a dikette ready with that driver on it. The
preboot screen allows you to extend or replace the 3 default drivers
with one not listed there.

The easy install means always that you're using dhcp. If you works
with fixed IPs you must go through the advanced install. That will
give you at least more control over anything.

Correct - it recognises NO sound driver. Even as mmos2 is installed
during the base installation NO sound drivers gets installed. It is on
you to finalise the base install by tune upp your desktop as the guide
lets you and thereafer shutdown and reboot to HD, insert CD #2 fire up
install,cmd in its root and find out your soundcard and install its
driver.
As a matter of fact I didn't save the uniaud/genaud drivers. Can
