Oily fish like sardines, herring, Boston Bluefish and mackerel are
pretty strong tasting and smelling especially if not super fresh and
not to everyone's taste that's for sure.

So I take it then that you could tolerate ultra fresh, lean, mild
flavoured fish such as sole or fresh water whitefish?

      Title: Ranch-Style Bacon Sandwiches
 Categories: Sandwiches, Bacon
      Yield: 12 Servings

      1 lb bacon
      4 oz pk shredded dried beef
    1/2 c  chili sauce
    1/3 c  sweet pickle relish
    1/4 c  minced onion
     12    buns
     12 sl cheese
  
  Preheat oven to 300F.  Cook bacon until crisp.  Drain.
  
  Mix together beef, chili sauce, relish and onions.  Spread on buns.
  Top with bacon and cheese.  Wrap in foil.  Bake for 20 minutes.
