 They are pretty good. Even my Delorme unit that I use with my Lap Top
has Audio Turn by turn directions. But the things it does. Particularly,
Like at times taking you off the Freeway and routing you over surface
streets for a while when taking you through large cities I don't care
for.  
It is a good tool for someone that travels a lot.
