definitely changes our thinking, and brings us to what is so often
called 'this way of life' of not drinking and living life on life's
terms one day at a time. Can you maybe elaborate a little on how you
changed, not just the externals, but how your thinking has changed
from a few years ago to what it is now?
For what it's worth, I don't think my thinking has changed a lot
over recent years. Maybe that's a lack of growth and I've been
resting on my laurels without knowing it, or maybe others might see
changes in me that I don't see in myself.
I've done a lot of reading - from Scott Peck's "Further Along The
Road Less Traveled" in which he gushes and gushes about 12-Step
programs, to Charlotte Davis Kasl's "Many Roads, One Journey", which
referenced many other things I'd read as well as some other books
I'm still looking for.
Gee, this is starting to look like something I should take to
netmail... :-) Anyway, I recognized probably most of the names I
saw here - it's amazing how this echo has had so many of the same
people on here for years. I also checked out some of the other echos
Marge has on Promises, and I saw you were co-moderator of 12-step...
yes, you have changed...
Has anyone heard from John L.? I thought I saw Rich Ward using
that "I'm the guy your sponsor warned you about" tagline that I stole
from John L. way back when...gee...
... I am Galileo of Borg. I am irreverent.
