G'day Paul,

Replying to a message of Paul Edwards to Jeff Green on 24-02-96:

JG>> A 3 second delay in negotiating the connect with TML doesn't faze
 JG>> me much.

PE> And it would be more than 3 seconds if you were running Binkley 2.50
PE> or Binkley 2.59 etc anyway. I do like to run things flat bicky
 PE> though. BFN. Paul.

I'm trying the settings that Dave B. sent to me. Let's see if it was my
modem setup all along.

[an hour or two later]

I just checked my logs for the last two calls I made. Approx 13.30 Sat and
9.00 Sun and the double tsync is gone. This was *before* I changed my
settings to those that Dave B. sent to me (I hadn't even seen his message
at those times!!].

Did you do something at your end?

Regards...Jeff (jeff{at}grntrs.dialix.oz.au)
