Sometimes I think about contacts but they look like too much work, hassle 
and expense.  I've worn glasses for 20 years and prefer them to sticking 
things in my eyes (g).  They once prevented most of a large splash of spot 
remover from getting in my eyes when I worked in a T-shirt printing 
factory and that settled it for me.
