No, but often the sponsors, not always, often the sponsors are car 
stereoshops or the manufacturers themselves.. More money will be spent to 
achievethe maximum points at 140db than would probably be spent to achieve 
maximumpoints at 120db... And there is always the possibility that fewer 
peoplewould attend events, etc. I have nothing against the 140db ceiling, I 
wish myown car would hit at 140db...
