subject: Get OS/2 directory ?

I'm porting a Win16 product to OS/2 PM and Win32.. and having a small
problem with directories. This particular product is a DLL which works on
__COMPLEX__ data structures which shared between a variety of applications.
Also, it is _____VITAL_____ (!!!!! etc 8-) that this DLL is never
backleveled and that applications do not use private copies.

In Win16, I am using GetWindowsDirectory() and putting the DLL in the
Windows directory. I am also storing my data files there (hey, they're
small, and anyway it's common practise ).

I need to know if there is an equivalent function in OS/2 to GetWindowsDirectory().

If there isn't, does someone have a suggestion as to a directory which is :

a) common to ALL OS/2 PM installations (3.0 and above at least)
b) safe to write
c) will be in LIBPATH
